what kind of refugium light?
Are you supposed to get a strong light for the refugium? A weak light? A certain wattage?

Best results ive gotten are with a 17w led flood light. The one with no diffuser.

I use an LED PAR 38 lamp.

You just want good coverage, doesn't need to be overly strong. Look for a light in the 6400k spectrum, the yellower light grows algae faster.
