Just about fed up with Bubble Magus Dosing Pump
Has this happened with anyone else?
The buttons on this dosing pump suck. You have to press them 3 or more times for it to register 1 button press. I have been fine tuning my dosing levels now that I have doubled the amount of frags in my tank. So far while messing with my settings I apparently didnt back all the way out of the menus on the pump and even though i pressed the exit button for the final time needed it didnt register and I assumed it did and proceeded to stand up and close my stand. Well I dont know if this is true for all 3 areas of the controllers menu but if you dont back out all the way after doing a manual dosing it doesnt dose your preset dosings at their normal times. I have done this 2 times already in the past few months where I think it backed all the way out only to find out the next night while testing my alk levels that it has dropped a pretty good amount since it hasnt dosed anything in 24hrs. Im really getting ****ed off that I keep having this problem. My stand is cramped so its hard to get to the dosing pump and see the screen. I am fed up with how crappy the buttons are on it which is causing my presses to not register every time and things like this to happen. Has this happened to anyone else and caused a drop in your Alk and Ca due to some extended amount of time missed on your dosing schedule or am i just an idiot? Just when I felt like my tank was starting to take off my alk levels drop .5 in one day and I think 2 of my corals arent going to make it.

I have done that also and it is aggravating to say the least. I have been looking at the kamoer dosing pump. It looks and the buttons are the same as the BM but supposedly a lot nicer including the fact that it can be calibrated where as the BM cannot.

I have a Kamoer and I can say it's a lot better than Bubble Magus for almost the same cost.
