Red Hairy Algae

I have this red algae growing in different spots in my tank. I believe that it is turf algae. If it is that what is the best way to get rid of it? I have heard Mexican turbo snail work but I am afraid to use them as they will knock over my corals. I also have green hair that looks about the same, would that be the same treatment?
Thanks in advance
