Recommended Chiller Size/ Brand for 75 G Reef Tank

Guys, its very hot in NYC, i need a Chiller recommendation and brand that I should buy to reduce the temp of my tank. I have tried fans but no luck currently my tank is 84.

Please give me your recommendations especially for those who have experience with Chillers.

JBJ appear to be selling quality units theses days. Chiller size is a function of temp pull down per volume, so if you have 100 total gallons, and need 5 degrees of temperature reduction, look at the sizing recommendations accordingly. My guess is you'd need a 1/5 HP unit, but that's just a guess.

I posted the link (sizing chart) because you wanted to know the recommended size for your set-up regardless of the brand. It's just FYI.

you should look on CL and buy a used JBJ 1/3 or 1/4.. if your budget is $550, you are not going to find a new 1/4hp
