ID please!
I saw this guy creeping around just now. I have seen the arms coming out of my Fiji rock but I figured it was just a tiny brittle star sweeping for food. But now that its out and about it doesn't look like a starfish (well, it does but its missing 3 of the 5 arms). Is this some kind of bristleworm that's moving to a new spot, or do I have an injured star, or something else completely?

that is a mini brittle star fish probably a hitchhiker from your live rock great addition to the tank that helps clean up after your fish and such. most star fish propagate by splitting in half so unless you have a fish or crab that eats inverts that is most likely why it is missing arms
