Hairs and Tiny Creatures
Hi Guys,
1. Today I cleaned my tank and after few hours I saw some tiny creatures on the wall and rock. Pls see pic 1 for ref. 2. Also there are some hairy things on the walls and rocks, pic 22. Anyone has any idea what are those. And are those good or bad for my tank. Please note that my tanks is 7 months old. Thanks, 1.jpg 22.jpg |

It looks like the snails are colonistas. If so there are most likely tons of them. If I look at my tank a few hours after the lights go out I see hundreds all over the place.
The hairs look just like algae to me.

I just had two snails and I have not see one seen from almost a month, so I'm wondering from they came from.
Anyway, are these snails and hair algae safe for the fishes and tank enviroment. Thanks, Quote:
