New Sump Box Preparation
Hello all,
I finally found a sump that fits perfectly in my stand. 36x16x18. Just wondering, what should I do to prepare my sump or DT for the change. I know that sometimes when you eliminate a major component, with a new, clean component with no bacteria things can get a little whacky parameter wise. Or am I wrong on that? Just wondering the right steps to take in switching sumps. Thanks. |

So when you eliminate you are saying your replacing your sump with a different one. So what is in your current sump that won't be in the new sump? What are you eliminating?

The new sump is much larger, i just thought that a clean sump box, vs my existing one which is coated with bacteria, might somehow alter something.
Just being overly cautious |

If we're talking JUST a sump - you're ok. I hate jacking with refugiums.
