Jabeo 60

I am thinking about ordering one. I have never owned a wavemaker. To me it seems that the wave would interfere with water volume making it down the overflow to the sump to feed skimmer and return pump. Any truth to this?

I've never had any problem. Though due to me owning SPS, I just put in on "Else" mode which is the most naturalistic flow in the Jabeo series. This creates what they call a "chaotic" flow which blows water hard, soft, medium, goes a bit crazy.
