tunze 9004 or innovative marine ghost skimmer?
I have a innovative marine nuvo 38 and i was just wondering what protein skimmer to buy for it. I dont want one what will stick out above my tank or a hang on the back skimmer as i believe they are an eyesore. I have found 2 skimmers what im particularly attracted to and these are the tunze 9004 and the innovative marine ghost skimmer. I want to know people opinion on these or any other recommendations.

IMHO, HOB's that don't hang off the back or stick above the tank are not nearly as efficient as the other option. Aquamaxx HOB-1 on mu Nuvo 38 and I don't notice it since I look at what's in the tank and not outside

My tank is in my living room and it took me a few months to convince my parents to allow me to buy a tank in the first place so i dont think they would be too keen on letting me buying one of those.

Out of the 2, I'd go with Tunze. I've had the other IM skimmer and it was pretty loud. Another one to consider might be the CadLights nano skimmer. This is what I'm currently using and I like it a lot.
