Anyone use the GE ROSave.Z Sediment Filters?

I'm curious how much better the GE ROSave.Z Sediment Filter's (1 Micron) are than standard 1 Micron sediment filters. E.g. is it worth the extra cost.

I was thinking otherwise getting a 25-pack really cheap, even if I have to go through them really quick. Ex:
Filters on Amazon

I have used the ROSave.Z filters and they last me more than twice as long. My supply water is terrible so with regular sediment filters I have to change them every 150 gallons product water. With the ROSave.Z I can get 3-400 gallons of product water. Worth the money for me.
