Fish Combatibility

Hey all, I think I have finally figured out a good grouping of fish for my 90 gallon with 40 sump. Please let me know what you think! Thanks!

2 Tomato Clowns
Kole Tang
Toby Puffer
Long Nose Hawkfish
Picasso Trigger fish
Snowflake eel
Magnificent Foxface

Probably some green star polyp and Pulsing Xenia.

Any advice is appreciated!

I would probably scrap the picasso trigger, they can be pretty aggressive (especially in a smaller tank), add a big chunk of bioload to the tank and are extremely active IME, there's a good chance he'll make it a living hell for everyone else in the 4' tank. The foxface, kole, eel and puffer sound like they would be good additions, however the tomatoes you may find to be too aggressive in this tank as they age, even with the relatively "bold" lineup of potential tankmates, but you may end up not having too much of an issue, just depends on how you go about stocking this tank. One more piece of advice is to have a damn good skimmer Good luck

The tomato clowns do tend to be a little aggressive

How do you suggest stocking the tank
I am thinking

1. foxface in my 30 gal qt (2 weeks)
hawkfish and clowns in display

2. 2'' trigger and 3'' puffer in qt (2 weeks)
3. Eel in qt (2 weeks)
3. Tang in qt (2 weeks)

I would say no to any trigger in a 90. the magnificent gets big. a one spot foxface might be a better choice.

Yeah, I would also recommend against the magnificent. If you were to try any it would be the one spot though I still think I would prefer them in a bigger tank. I had a Foxface Lo in my 75g and he quickly outgrew it and that was not a fun experience getting him out.
