New Sump

I am building a new sump for my new system.

The sump will have a total volume of 52 gallons.

The sump will have a center return, yes in the center, and the water will be going to both a section for the protein skimmer and one for the macro algae area. Each chamber returns to the same return pump chamber. I will hopefully have two four inch mesh socks, one each per section before the return pump area.

For the return area from the DT I can make room for three four inch 200 micron socks BUT will two four inch 200 micron socks be adequate.

My goal is to have about 400 gallons MAX per hour through the sump.

Thanks for any input.

Regards,
