ASM G5 vs SRO6000sss how do I determine which is best for my set up?

My system consists of 4 display tanks plumbed to 1 sump. My display volume consists of 2 120gal a 180gal and a 93 cube plus a 75gal fuge. They all drain to a 75 gallon sump. The return pump is a hammerhead gold. I currently run two euro reef skimmers and would like to have just one.
It is a mixed reef loaded with corals and just over a dozen or so small fish. I'd like to up my fish population but want to get the correct skimmer to allow this.
Any help/ advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Larry

With a total system volume in that range, I'd be inclined to bag the 'toy' skimmers and go with a big one - something like MTC, Lifereef or MRC. FWIW, 75 gallon sump is awfully small for all those tanks.

Well I've never used or even seen that style skimmer in use. I did read up on the lifereef and it looks like a good option although I'll need to run another large pump to feed it. As far as the sump goes that's as big of a sump I can fit in the space I have. I've been running the system for 2.5 years with a 50gal sump and just upgraded to the 75.

which euro reef's do you have?

I have never been a fan of the ASM skimmers, I had a G1 & G3 a while ago and thought their pumps were horrible. I do not believe they have changed anything over the years thus they are all still held back by a poor pump.

Is the SRO6000sss needed for size limitations inside the sump? The sump savers I do not think are good ideas especially when the skimmer is small for the system.

Can you fit a external skimmer? If so with over 500 gallons of water not including the sump I would consider something larger and better. The external 6000 or possibly their 7000 skimmer as well as the MTC/Lifereef/MRC & a few other options.
