Red bubble algae growing on tube worm

I couldn't believe what I was seeing, but there is red bubble algae growing on my orange tube worm. If I try to grab the bubble, the worm retreats into it's hole until I can't see it at all. Should I leave it alone, or try to grab the algae with tweezers? I'm afraid to damage the worm.
