Healthy hammer coral?
Is this a healthy hammer coral? I ask because I've never really seen them opened so much

Looks like a good start. What light are you using? Could color up a bit more. Must not have much flow there.

I'm guessing it's in almost no flow. Usually if a Euphyllia is very wide open its in almost no flow what so ever. It looks fine though

should I get more flow on it? Idk that whole low medium and high flow thing confuses me because my idea of low could be different then someone else's. But thank you for the input

It doesn't have to have high flow. It looks nice when you have a flow that goes back and forth like a wave maker.

I'm using LED lights and fluorescent tubes I'm pretty sure I have enough light tho because I also have a birds nest and a purple stylo that are doing amazing. And haha I wish I could get a wave maker but I have a stupid pentagon tank that I got from my grandfather before they made bow fronts and I wouldn't really be able to achieve a good back and forth motion it's hard enough as it is to get a good flow going in this tank because of all the flat edges of the tank slowing the current down so I had to use what I know about fluid motion to kinda place the rocks to direct the currents throughout the tank

I'd say it looks very happy and relaxed which is a good thing. As it grows it will probably move a tad more in it's current location. I added two really small powerheads, pointing toward one another, to my tank just to get some extra movement and avoid dead spots since those areas (the dead ones) tend to become problematic over time. Just a thought.
