Lighting under stand
Hi everyone,
I'm looking to get some lights underneath my stand so i can see better what's going on when i'm working under it (using a headlamp works, but it's not the best solution, I feel). I've thought of using a rope light, but i'm wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions that they use? I'm looking to do this on the relatively cheap... |

I put a set of under cabinet lights in my stand. Super bright for the little space they take up.

Son bought 4 strips@ HD.
About 10-12 ft long each, just plug & play. Looked for you in Denver Dr. but the ones taller than me were not you. |

I bought an LED strip on Amazon and wrapped it around the top of the stand. It was inexpensive, provides a ton of light, and takes up little to no space at all.
This picture doesn't do the light the strip produces justice - it is very bright. Oh, and ignore the fish poo. ![]()

I got this one. I like the touch switch and it's bright enough under my 120g.

Tons of affordable options at Home Depot or Lowes that will plug into a free outlet.
Just go browse.

I bought a set of LED under-cabinet pucks from Lowe's. As d2mini says, there are a lot of options.

I also bought 2 bar motion leds that use 3 AA batteries in Home Depot. You can also adjust the sensor trigger.

I a motion activated, battery operated light in mine. Burned through batteries like crazy. I use an under cabinet led strip light I picked up at costco. Has motion sensor, but I don't use it. Switch on and off. And doesn't take up an outlet.
