Questions for radion owners

I have a JBJ 28 that I will rip the hood off of and I want to put a radion 15x pro over it. My tank is in the living room and my couch and chairs sit below the tank (tank sits on original JBJ stand).

If I mount the light 8" above the water will I be blinded every time I sit down to watch TV?

Are the 15w pro's gen3's???

Whats a good recommended intensity to start off with?

Yes, you will see the lights from that angle. The 15x should be the latest generation. The intensity should be determined by the type of corals you keep. I would start at 20% for anything, and ramp up to 50% for softies, and 80% for more demanding corals. Led's can have a laser beam effect that some corals do not like. Especially at high intensity and short range, and if they were previously maintained under T5 or MH. Only go 100% if you Don't overfeed, and never have algae problems.
Daniel.
