saving sick corals possible??
Hi, once a coral starts dying (such that its mouth has been open for days) has anyone actually been able to save it and If so how? My cynarina coral is slowly receding and has had its mouth open a small amount continuously for a few days. The sick coral has been in my tank about 2 years. I have other cynarina corals in that tank that are doing very well. I moved it recently closer to a frogspawn and I guess its possible that it was stung but I doubt it.

I've tried that before on sick corals and all it ever did was hasten their demise

you are waiting to long before you try to fix them. ive used revive multiple times on the start of a dieing coral. but ive also dipped it before it got to far. once you see it looking bad you should dip not wait till its basically gone to try and fix it. not trying to be mean but its very hard to fix a coral when its so close to being dead
