best thing to fix pump with?

I have a couple of aqeuon power heads that broke off at the ball on the suction cup and I was wondering what would be the best type of epoxy/glue to fix it. It would be plastic on plastic.

I have weld-on 810 but I think that is more of a pvc epoxy. Anyone think that would do the job?

Sorry to say, but it probably won't hold. The shaft from the ball to the housing is small and there is not much surface area for the epoxy to support. I can't think of anything but drilling both sides and tapping them for a plastic screw. But even then the surrounding plastic would be thin. Even worse is later the ball and socket lossen, won't support the head! I would replace it with something better.

I just took the dremel to both surfaces and made a smooth edge. They will not swivel anymore but I think they will do the job.
