Something to be worried about?

Hi everyone,

New to the forums, but have had this tank up for about 6 months now. Anyway, I have a Toadstool Coral that has been there the whole time and has looked healthy as far as i know. Recently though, his base has been turning white (see pic below). Is this something to be concerned about? He still opens up everyday and is placed in a moderate flow area with lots of light. It's also worth noting that a couple weeks ago I went out of town for a few days and came back on a strangely hot day to find the temp of the aquarium up to 85 degrees : /
He seemed stressed and smaller at the time, but has since grown back to about normal size.

Here's the tank params -

10 gallon w/ MarineLand Reef Capable LED
80 degrees
Salinity 1.0245
Ammonia 0
Nitrate/Nitrite 0/0
pH 8
Carbonate Hardness 120
General Hardness 180

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
