Algae ID please.
What kind of algae is this and how do I get rid of it? It's on my sandbed and nowhere else.

Diatoms perhaps? Does it come and go each day with the lights, or is it always there? There might be an underlying problem, but for a quick fix, just siphon out that top layer. If it comes back all of a sudden, look elsewhere. (phosphates, nitrates, silicates)

It doesn't come and go with the lights, if I siphon it it comes right back. All params are good phosphates are undetectable and nitrates are also undetectable. So if its cyano how do I get rid of it?

It's feeding organics etc that by nature settle low in the water column. Just keep stirring the sand bed gently. You can also place a power head low in the tank and point it up
