Algae id and idk what these are
soo not sure what I got going on in here. tanks about 6-7 months old at this point. got a red algae bloom about a 2 or 3 weeks ago and started noticeing these little white specks start to grow on most of my rocks and walls of the tank... the my residents dont seem bothered by them at all just wondering what they are.
as for the algae, Im not sure what type it is or how to go about removing/treating and preventing it. Thanks for any input

Those little white specks are nerite snail eggs. (good) As far as that red stuff goes, it looks like some type of macro algae, but I'm not sure which type. Perhaps this link will help with an ID.

Red growth could be cyanobacteria. If it is, it will feel slimey and is easily suctioned up with a turkey baster.
