Mushroom ID and info
So I bought this really pretty mushroom from my LFS... she got a bunch of them from a client's tank that was recently broken down, and called them elephant ear mushrooms. However, when I look them up online, they don't really look anything like what I have.
Was wondering if I could get a positive ID on the coral as well as some info about care.... It's not looking super happy even after a week and all my other 'shrooms have looked great within hours of being in the tank. It's kind of scrunched up down the middle almost like it wants to split, but I know it hasn't made a second mouth... but I'm not very familiar with their reproduction. The color is good, but it hasn't truly opened up. I did buy it as a free-floating mushroom and had to superglue it to some rubble, so maybe I made it mad doing that? Long write-up for a mushroom I know, thanks for any help in advance. Sorry for potato quality photo. |

With a picture of it fully open I could ID it but from the looks of it now it looks like a rock anemone. Either way looks nice!
