Which one
Narrowed it down to 2 lights for my 40 breeder sps tank, which should I go with, by the way I will be hanging it.
24x6 t5 or 39x4 t5 it will be all sps except my 2 hammer colonies and my torch colony at the bottom, and some acans in the sand |

A good rule I heard was 1 bulb for 3" of tank width.
18" wide tank should use a 6 bulb fixture, for example

Ati didn't give out that rule of thumb. A well respected member did in the everlasting t5 thread.
I think most sps keepers would disagree with you on this one.
