Help with ID
Have a bunch of these critters in my refugium. Don't see any in the sand bed or elsewhere in the display, even when looking at night with a flashlight. However, suspect some are in there because I doubt they're not finding a way in from refugium.
Looks like a bristle worm, but doesn't look like a fireworm to me. Rather, seems like a one of the cleanup/non-harmful ones. Can anyone confirm? |

It's a bristleworm.

Harmless but can take over a tank pretty fast. But a dottyback or 6 line wrasse can take care of the population to keep it low

Population is controlled by food supply. More detritus, more worms.

Thanks all. I have a couple of six line wrasse, which probably explains why I don't see any i in the display tank. No real detritus in the display either, but suspect there is more of everything in the refugium.
