Innovative marine tanks getting small fish stuck

I'm not exactly sure what's happening here but I have 3 IM tanks - 38,30 and 16. Of the 3 I've noticed that in 2 of them ( the ones with small fish) smaller fish get stuck at the bottom middle of the display. Specifically scooter bennies, small cow, harlequin shrimp and a small bat. The only think I can theorize is a magnetic field from the pump. Has anyone else experienced this and is the pump capable of doing that??
The pump is on the other side of the wall exactly where they get stuck. There is no other reason I can think of that would cause them to get stuck

Thoughts?

Maybe that's a slow spot in the current, and weak fish just rest there? I don't think your flesh and blood fish have enough iron to be attracted to a magnet in a pump.

I don't think so either but there's no crack in the seal and if I unplug the pump they can swim away. I'm going to make a vid and send it to IM
