Another ID Please
Found this on my trumpet today. Hopefully nothing bad. The trumpet hasn't been opening all the way but my clown has been rubbing against them and I figured that's why.uploadfromtaptalk1413230307151.jpguploadfromtaptalk1413230307151.jpg

Very common, and 99.9999% harmless asterina star. Detritivore.

They will multiply fairly quickly, but they will also self limit the population depending on food supply.

I don't trust them.
Until somebody can give me a definitive answer as to which ones are good and which ones are bad, I'll treat them all as bad. Also, a tank full of these things is not very attractive IMO. It almost looks like the tank has come down with chicken pox or something. GL. http://reefkeeping.com/joomla/index....efkeeping-101- http://www.coralpedia.com/index.php?...g2_itemId=1426 |

Hopefully it's not a coral eater because I already put it back in the tank.
