brand new

I just decided last month I wanted to start a salt water tank. I'm looking around on craigs list to possibly find a used tank. I am so overwhelmed by the choices in everything. Glass vs acrylic for example. I am planning on getting 100 gallon tank. One I am considering now is 1 100 gallon acrylic tank but i can see some scratches on it.

any tips on picking the tank?

Brand new is easiest.

Used is cheapest. Arylic is pretty easy to polish

the tank is only $400 for a 100 gallon tank with a really nice stand and hood. It is from a bank and was maintained by a professional. Just emptied out and being sold.

Ive seen full systems go for only a couple hundred more one craigslist. I would wait. If your heart is set look up buffing acrylic because you can remove the scratches.

Depends on what is in "all other equipment". You should list all here and we can tell you if the price is okay.

Do you have the Craigslist listing? Can you post the link?
