Does frozen food add iodine to the reef system

I been feeding frozen brine, mysis and plankton for years. Do these foods particularly San Francisco Bay Brand add iodine to the system? I have a weak algae scrubber that I'm trying to maintain and wonder if I should add a iodine supplement?

Yes.

If you do supplement supplement Iodide, not iodine. Make sure you test for it though. Also a little bit of iron goes a very long way on dosing.
