Jebao RW-8 with vortech mp10 controller

Hi, i have a vortech mp10 with about 3 months use on it and than sat in the box for 2 years due to sandy on which we lost power for 12 days and my tank crashed. Now i am starting the tank again and hooked up the mp10 and dry side (mortor) is making loud noise. This time i cant justify buy another vortech and was look to get a jebao rw-8 only problem i have with this that i want to mount the controller in the cabinet where it will be drak all the time and it will trigger the night mode. So now i have a good working vortech controller just wanted to check with you guy what you think of it and if it will work.
Thanks

Google mp10 bearings replacement. May be a very simple issue.

Bearings cost me like $12, and it took me 10 minutes to swap them out in my noisy MP10.

There are a couple very good guides online to do it, hardest part is getting the old bearings off the shafts.

I've never done this but came across it from another problem I was searching google for. Anyways, from my other hobby (remote control cars) i would say if you can get the size (inner and outer diameters) search around online and especially eBay. I found them much cheaper than hobby shop ones. And since its dry side it's not like you have to be too careful since they're not going into the water.

I bought mine from Eastern Bearing who had them in stock, Motion Industries could get them too but it was like 3-4 days. You can also get them on Ebay, there was a bunch on there.

You need to take yours apart to see the bearing part number, they used a couple different sizes in them.
