Auto Water change, 34DT, 10g?
I would like to automate a small daily water change for my 34g Solana (10g sump) but dont exactly know what the best way to go about this would be. I have limited space in terms of reservoirs, but can fit approx (2) 2.5g containers to make this work. I also have a Bubble Magnus BM-t01 and 2 Brs 1.1l/min dosers. I can incorporate these into my apex.
I typically do a 10% weekly on this tank, but didnt know if doing a daily would limit or increase this percentage....would I still aim for 10% a week? Also, is there any concern about leaving a 2.5g jug of fresh mixed saltwater sit for a week that the pumps would draw from? Any expierience/advice with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

I do not think any system should run an auto water changer without a salinity probe.
What is your budget for this? The saltwater should be fine. Don't use salt mix that has extra nutrients. Stuff like instant ocean can sit for a long time.
