Fluval sea protein skimmer
I have a sumpless 20 gallon long set up and was wondering which good, affordable skimmers are worth buying. I read mixed reviews about the fluval sea ps1 and want to know if it is efficient and quiet. Thanks.

The biggest complaint I have read is that they are not quiet. I think they work well enough, but their pumps are pretty loud from what I have read.

I purchased the Fluval M90 and it included the Fluval PS-1 Skimmer. Not only is it loud it does NOT work well. It is hard to dial in and does not make much foam.
I just bought a Tunze 9004 and installed it yesterday. Within an hour it was producing better skimmate than the PS-1 did in a couple of months. |
