Alternative hanging of the Gyre

Ok so I got the Gyre and am determined to get it mounted horizontaly although it says it will work vertical too. I want the surface agitation BUT I have a long overflow box in the back where I want to mount it and can NOT use the outside magnet (not even inside the overflow-Too close to the water surface-) Any ideas as to a way to hang it there D.I.Y.? I can drill the overflow but there is a ledge across the top so I couldn't reach in to put a nut on the back. I would have to be a plastic self tapping (into pilot hole). OR GLUE the snot out of it to the overflow LOL <--- the back magnet is submersible too so just it would be glued. Total weight is 1 Lb. 10 oz's. or I'm listening to other Ideas?
