couple ASM skimmer questions

What is the foam for on the outlet tube?
does anyone make an automatic wiper for the cup?
I have 2 ASM 4++ skimmers.
Thanks
Dave

I think the foam is just make the water coming out more quiet. I don't know about a kneck cleaner.

+1 the foam on the output tube is to quiet and reduce splashing.

I don't know of a commercial neck cleaner. ( I clean my neck and cup every week and don't see a huge need for a neck cleaner).

I did upgrade the pump in my G2 (sed3500 to sed5000) seemed to make a difference.

ASM skimmers are kind of an old design but they do work.

If you haven't added the "silencer capsule" you should.. big improvement in removing the sucking sound.
