Skimmer overfoaming

Hi just wondering if anyone has some suggestions. I have a RO 150 Classic I love it, I like more then my Vertex Omega 150 but it produces foam like insane. I cleaned the cup last night and I raised the water level to the bottom of the cup in hopes to get a little wetter skim. I just went and looked at the skimmer and about an inch in the bucket ( via drain hose ) and sticky filthy foam coming out of all the holes and top bubbling up and oozing down the side. It's worse then before and I put fresh ROX .8 in and have Filter Sock.

Any thoughts?

My SRO xp-2000 cone does that when the venturi starts to clog up. The worse the occlusion the worse the blowout. If your not running it too deep in the water, then I suspect this is your problem

I'm having the same issue with my RO 150. Before it wasn't skimming much so I started to vodka dose and lowered the water level in the skimmer. Now the collection cup is packed full of foam. I read that the RO 150's skim wetter the lower the water sits inside the body (reverse logic). I used to have the water line starting at the bottom of the collection cup. I lowered it about 6 inches and now it has this foam. I just think this is a temperamental skimmer.

Ya I lowered the water level and shut bio pellets off for now and seems to make a difference. Going to change pellets to All in One and see if that helps.
I must admit I am impressed with the RO 150 and the CRAP it pulls. It outperforms the Omega, I think the pump is too much for the Omega and the wine bottle shape just does not work right for that size. Its strange I can get a nice foam with it but what goes in the bucket is almost clear water and with the RO 150 its a dark green almost black.

Anyhow I hope the changes will help.
