Bulbs configuration
Hi everyone,
I've made my own T5 lighting system with 14x54w as I'm changing from LEDs. But I wondering if my bulbs configuration is good or not? Here is a preview: |----------------------------------| 1. Blue+ |----------------------------------| 2. Blue+ |----------------------------------| 3. Coral+ |----------------------------------| 4. Actinic |----------------------------------| 5. Aquablue Special |----------------------------------| 6. Coral+ |----------------------------------| 7. Blue+ |----------------------------------| 8. Purple + |----------------------------------| 9. Actinic |----------------------------------| 10. Blue + |----------------------------------| 11. Aquablue Special |----------------------------------| 12. Coral+ |----------------------------------| 13. Blue+ |----------------------------------| 14. Blue+ An important point is that I'm loving the white/blue effect, really cold! And it's for a SPS dominated system! What do you advice me? Last edited by Zweebe; 12/26/2014 at 06:55 AM. |

With all those bulbs I would assume you could get away with a GE daylight bulb(high par). I would consult the t5 Q&A thread.
The Coral+ are pink and will make the tank look warmer.

How big is your tank? 14 bulbs is a ton!
I'd honestly go with something like 9 blue plus and 5 coral plus. Grab a couple extra bulbs to mess around with
