Hybrids are not common, but not particularly rare either. Hard to tell for sure from the photo, but I'd lean towards regular AT.

isnt regular AT has similar teardrop & tail color?
i have yet to see 1 that is different, other than this in fact i have tried googling for years and i seldom find pic of yellow teardrop AT cheers

This was sold by LA as a hybrid a couple months ago. I thought it was so cool so I saved the picture. It looks like what you have.

based on my understanding, and LA pic, hybrid doesnt have teardrop
regular AT orange teardrop with orange tail hybrid yellow lining with orange tail mine yellow teardrop with orange tail

Judging from what I've seen with clown hybrids and freshwater species hybrids coloration with hybrid offspring could be quite variable. If the hybrids are also fertile crossing back to one of the parent species is going to produce some that are just a 1/4, 1/8 . . . of one species. Only DNA testing is going to give a clear picture of what's occuring.
