Tunze ATO & Rubbermaid sump

I can't get mine to shut off. I am wondering if the "eye" is confused because of the lip of the sump below it.

Anyone encountered this problem and/or have advise?

Thanks

Is the pump running continually or is the pump shutting off and water is still filling? 2 very different issues

Is there anything on the eye? Algae, coralline, etc.?

If it has the optical sensor, I would give that a good cleaning with a soft cloth. Even though it is new. If that does not work, contact Tunze or the retailer

I just installed my Tunze Osmolator ATO and had to clean off the optic sensor.
