Hydra 52 settings with MH high-noon

Hi all, I am testing a new lighting setup to attempt to combine the best lighting for the corals with the best lighting for viewing.

I have a 180g tank, 60x30x24. Ive built a light rack that will hold 2x 250w radiums in lumenbright mini reflectors, along with 3x hydra 52's. The 2 outer hydras will be slightly angled towards the middle of the tank since they are only about 5" away from the edge of the tank. Inside of those 2 hydras will be the lumenbright mini pendants split by another hydra. The rack will be about 12"-14" AWL.

What I am interested in is opinions on how to run the Hydras throughout the day. The radiums will run 4 hours per day and act as the high noon lighting.

Here is what I am thinking:
8am-10am (ramp up to)
Cool white -0
Green - 0
Violet - 50
Red - 0
Blue - 50
Rb - 50
Uv - 20

10am-noon (ramp up to)
Cool white - 35
Green - 15
Violet - 75
Red - 15
Blue - 75
Rb - 75
Uv - 30

Noon-4pm (combined with radiums, adding actinic)
Cool white - 0
Green - 0
Violet - 100
Red - 0
Blue - 100
Rb - 100
Uv - 0

4pm to 8pm reverse of sunrise

This should, in my opinion, be a good sunrise and sunset ramp that brings in some full spectrum LED at lower intensity before and after the halides run. It also allows me to keep temps stable by only allowing the halides to heat the tank for a few hours...i go from 77 degrees to a hair over 78 degrees in that 4 hour span.

Please share your thoughts on the hydra settings, as well as overall lighting.

Thanks!
Joe

Here are two long discussions here on Reefcentral that should help

This is a long AI Hydra discussion posts. I was able to get sample settings, ramp times and get all my questions answered. (over 100 pages) - http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh....php?t=2307040

This is a long discussion specific to the Hydra 52 (8 pages) - http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh....php?t=2356724

Try both discussions and you should be able to get the help you need.

Yes, I have been through the full 52 thread and a lot of the hydra thread, but never ran across anyone running them with Halides
