In my 125 reef tank I moved like 3 months ago my alk and cal levels refuse to drop. I've done water changes every 3 weeks and they don't really drop I don't no if this is good or bad? There not high they are in normal ranges i just wanna no why they havent droped so i can put kn my dosing pumps. I have alot of coral in my tank hard coral and soft have lps sps. I'm using Hanna checkers to check my leveps4 by the way.

To Reef Central As long as the levels stay in the safe range, I wouldn't worry. How quickly are the corals growing?

It is quite possible that your water changes are keeping up with the demand of the tank. Once the coral growth exceeds what the water changes can replenish then you can setup your dosing pumps.

Hmm, I'd get a second opinion on the test kits, but I guess I wouldn't worry too much until I had some numbers.
