whats this on my rock?

Noticed this weird white web/film Looking stuff in my tank and im unsure what it is.the first picture is the top of the rock it looks like something is growing out of it and the other two pictures show the bottom of the rock where there is more of the white web/filmy stuff does anyone know what this is or how to get rid of it?

looks like a sponge very hard to tell from those pics

Can't quite see very well in the first picture but... is that aptasia? Might be what is growing out of your rocks, in which case needs to be handled ASAP. But, i could be wrong, its just kinda blurry

Yeah have aiptasia too got a matted filefish to help with that and he hadsbeen.but the things growing out of the white stuff in the first pic aren't aiptasia I don't think.i know the pictures arnt really good ill pick the rock up and take a picture of it with it closer to the glass when I get back home.

Sorry i thought you meant what is growing out of the rock, not just the white stuff, my mistake!

Yes looks like the things sticking out could be that!but I'm still unsure what the white stuff is? Ide remove the rock but I have a bunch of zoas growing off the frag onto the rock what should I do about this?

looks like the start of what I have, and was told its a sponge. It has a very subtle, but cool, texture/pattern when seen IRL.

Just noticed a couple days ago there are tons of little tiny snails all over my tank don't know if they have any connection with this or not but figured ide mention it
