Float valve no where near my Apex?
My saltwater mixing station is 60 feet away in my garage from my Apex controller. I really don't want to have to run wire all the way to the Apex to get notification or shut off my pumps when I'm low on top off water.
Is there something I can easily hook a float valve to to give me some sort of a reminder or visual notification, like a light coming on or something without running to my apex? If so, how? Thanks Brian |

you can use a relay and a 12 volt door bell transformer.
you run 12VAC from transformer to one wire of your float valve, then the other float valve wire to the coil of the relay, other coil wire from relay back to your transformer. Then you just run a light off the normally closed contack of the relay and your pump off the normally open on the relay... Put the float switch at the bottom of your barrel.....when the water goes below the float switch your pump turns off and the light turns on! |
