Is this sea star reefsafe?

Find this little guy in my coral that I bought today . Is it reefsafe?

Looks to be your common hitchhiking Brittle Star sp.

yes it is, I have tons in my display

mini brittle star - beneficial detritivore. Their population, like most similar critters (asterina stars, bristle worms, etc.), will be self limiting depending on food supply.
