cloudy water

The water in my display, QT and new saltwater cloudy. I use reef crystals salt mix, specific gravity is 1.025. Im not sure if it's the salt mix or if there could be some chemical reaction causing it. All the fish and corals are fine, the skimmer is working fine. What steps should I take to resolve this issue? I've added extra carbon.

how long did you let it mix for? It's usually cloudy for awhile.. many people make their saltwater 24 hours in advance. I used to do about 2 hours (sitting in a bucket with a powerhead).. if you just mix it by hand and throw it in within 15 minutes it will be cloudy. I used to do it that way and it never harmed anything from what I could tell.

Also, cloudiness can be from stirring things up from the water change. How long has it been cloudy for? should clear up in 1-2 hours.

I usually let it mix for a day. the water in my display was clear, has always been clear, then today it was cloudy, as with the QT. I tested the water, nitrate and nitrate are 0ppm ammonia is 0ppm. I don't supplement.

I usually let my RC mix for 2 days and make sure same temp and Sg. I have never had issues doing it that way.
