Pest or coral??? - with picture

Need advice whether these creature is a pest or soon to be a beautiful coral ???

Coral. Phyllangia americana, hidden cup coral. They may be dead though.

It can't be dead as it just came out several days ago... mmm could be a few weeks ago. Never seen it before. Was on nano 10g before, upgraded to 40g.
