First Saltwater Build Custom 100g

Hello fellow reefers !

I just finished setting up my first saltwater aquarium. A custom 100G acrylic tank with 30G sump and a custom built stand. I was limited in space (specifically by my fiance) to this corner of the house so the aquarium and stand is built around what I had (I would have liked to go larger -- but she was very adamant about the space). I did a lot of research setting up this build and I think it came out pretty good. I am nearly 1 week into my cycle and will soon be setting up a 30G QT tank which I will cycle and add my first fish. Any tips, thoughts or criticism is welcome!

I think it looks really nice. I especially like the rock work.

Thanks gone fishin!

A 150-180G like yours was my target but the girlfriend (now fiance) wouldn't go for a tank that big... But time is on my side and in a few years if we both enjoy this hobby then I can always convince her to go bigger and I'm sure I will have learned a lot about the hobby that will allow me to make better decisions then.

Yeah my wife never cared much for the tank until the first winter, then she gained a new appreciation for it. That made the move to a larger tank much easier.

Only reason I will be getting a larger tank in my future. Is because all the fish my wife loves, require at least 180g or more. LOL
