Hammer coral shuting itself---- help anyone

I have a hammer coral...... its been more than a month now ... it was very active and fresh ... but now on it at certain places i can see it not opening and the color is a bit faded out ....

i have checked the parameters of the water and things are fine .... wonder if anyone can help me out with it ....

i have attached the pics here clicked how it used to be and hows its now ...

anyone please suggest whats happening

The cause is hard to pin down without a good deal more info. What you've pictured can be the result of a disease that specifically affects euphyllia corals (of which a hammer is a member of the genus), but it could also be the result of poor water conditions, flow that's too strong and impacting one area of the coral, or bleaching (too much light and/or too long of a photoperiod).

Duplicate the parameters in my sig line. "Fine" isn't enough information for us to help you, but it's likely something about your water, or some fish or invert is picking on it.

Salinity 1.024-6; alkalinity 8.3-9.3 on KH scale; calcium 420; magnesium 1300, temp 78-80, nitrate .2. Ammonia 0. No filters: lps tank. Alk and cal won't rise if mg is low.

Current Tank Info: 105g AquaVim wedge, yellow tang, sailfin blenny,royal gramma, ocellaris clown pair, yellow watchman, 100 microceriths, 25 tiny hermits, a 4" conch, 1" nassarius, recovering from 2 year hiatus with daily water change of 10%.
