Alkalinity is pegged...!
Ok so I have upgraded my measurement capability by adding Hanna checkers into the mix. Just got the alk tester today, and ran it.
First of all this test took about a minute and I didn't count a drop...awesome. Alkalinity in my tank right now is 10.4dKh...I think this is too high. Calcium is at 423ppm...which is where I'd like it. I use a two part, B-Ionic, for alk, calcium and other trace elements. I use calcium to judge how much to add. Should I use alkalinity to judge the dose?

Got a water change scheduled in a few days so all will be right with the world. I have almost never seen the alk that high with the titration kit. I'm in the middle of determining my weekly calcium depletion rate so I have been dosing calcium more often. May have over cooked it. I'll dose from alk from now on thanks.
