CUC & Macro Algae

So I compartmentalized my sump to keep a section of chaeto algae from getting eaten by my crabs.

Now that section looks like it is building up with detritus.

are there any inverts, snails or CUC members that will help clean up the detritus and NOT eat the chaeto?

I put a brittle star in there, but he only works half the time LOL

I have mexican turbo snails in my sump and they don't touch the cheato. Whatever they don't clean up I just siphon off.
