Are you using its suction cup feet? I've never heard a peep out of mine. As silent as my eheim.

Are you using a flexible connection (preferably silicone) or do you have it hard piped? In addition to the feet, I like to use a silicone mat under my pumps.

I don't have any experience with it, but I've seen some people put a rubber mat under the sump and that helped reduce the vibration noise.

Well the suction cup feet typically allow for a little vibration and play, which is good actually, otherwise it'll shake the output more. You could try cleaning it and see if that improves noise. Otherwise the mat might help, but shouldn't do anything different than the suction cup feet in terms of noise management

I used a mouse pad under my eheim for a time, but it started to get nasty, so I replaced it with rubber feet. Sounds the same: silent

kinda confusing, if its noise from the pump you can use vasaline or patrolium jelly I have heard to sort of grease the piviot points of the impeller.
if the noise is coming from the vibration of the pump touching the sump then like people said, put some kind of damper at the contact points.... hth(hope that helps)
